I’m married to Sam, mum to Orla who is 10 years old, and dog mum to our ‘cockerdale’ (a cocker spaniel cross patterdale terrier) Sydney.

We live in Hereford, and like most busy families, life is pretty full on. Between work, family life and everything else that comes with it, I know how quickly the days can disappear.

And that’s exactly why Hurst Mortgage Solutions LTD came about.

A little bit about me

I’ve worked as a mortgage adviser for over 24 years, helping people navigate one of the biggest financial decisions they’re likely to make.

Over the years I’ve helped so many of my wonderful clients buy their first home, move up the ladder, remortgage to extend their homes or go on their dream family holiday, buy out ex partners, purchase Buy to let properties and set up their own limited company portfolio’s.

During this time I’ve seen first-hand just how stressful the mortgage process can sometimes feel.

There’s paperwork, decisions, deadlines, jargon and a lot of money involved. And when you’re already juggling work and family life, the last thing you need is for your mortgage to add even more pressure.

I wanted to do things differently.

Why I started Hurst Mortgage Solutions LTD

Because getting a mortgage shouldn’t take over your life.

In 2026, I decided it was time to take everything I’ve learned throughout my career and create something of my own.

Hurst Mortgage Solutions LTD was born from a pretty simple idea:

Make mortgages easier for people.

I wanted to build a business that gives people the personal service, time and support they deserve, while creating a way of working that gives me something just as important: a better work-life balance and the chance to be there as my daughter grows up.

For me, that’s what success looks like.

Building a business I’m proud of, doing a job I love, helping people achieve their goals, and still being there for the moments that matter at home.

Mortgage advice without the sress

I don’t believe mortgage advice should feel complicated or
intimidating.

I’ll take the time to understand you, your circumstances and what you’re hoping to achieve. Then I’ll explain your options in a way that actually makes sense.

I’ll be there to guide you through the process, answer your questions and keep things moving.

And because I’m a mum too, I understand that life doesn’t always fit neatly into 9 to 5.

If you’ve got children to get to school, work commitments, a busy family life or simply don’t want to spend your evening sitting on hold, I’ll work with you to make the process as easy as possible.

It’s your mortgage. It should work around your life.

When I’m not helping people with their mortgages...

You’ll usually find me out walking in the beautiful countryside with Sydney, out socialising with Orla and our friends, away on holiday with Sam and Orla or most recently at the gym (I’ve just joined and started Hyrox so wish me luck with that as I am going to need it!)

I’m a cruise lover, I enjoy relaxing and drinking a cocktail in the sunshine and of course spending plenty of time with my daughter, husband and new addition Sydney.

Can’t live without: coffee (after my family & friends obviously!)
Always in my fridge: Prosecco!
Favourite way to spend a weekend: Having friends, family and kids around for drinks and a bit of karaoke! My go to song is Alanis Morissette – Ironic!
